Date of disbursement of dues for hourly workers
The Minister of Education and Technical Education issued Circular No. 3 regarding organizing and facilitating procedures for disbursing allowances for performing hours for those hired to work hourly, as well as teachers who perform hours in excess of the legal quorum assigned to them.
This comes out of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education's keenness to facilitate disbursement procedures and to obtain their financial dues for performing hours as soon as possible, and in addition to Circular No. 2 dated 12/8/2024, regarding procedures for preparing for the start of the new academic year 2024/2025.
The circular stipulated that the financial appropriation be arranged by the competent authorities in the ministry, and then the dues subject to the aforementioned circular are transferred to the competent educational directorates, which in turn transfer the dues to the competent educational administrations on a monthly basis and before their due dates with sufficient time.
The circular also stipulated that the actual class schedule that was actually performed, whether by those hired to work the class or teachers who perform classes in excess of the legal quota set for them, be approved at the end of the month by the subject supervisors at the school.
Date of disbursement of salaries for workers by the class
The circular stressed that the actual class schedule referred to in the previous paragraph be presented after its approval by the subject supervisors at the school to the school principals for their approval and responsibility after verifying the accuracy of the data contained therein, and the actual class schedule referred to in this circular shall be submitted after its approval by the school principals to the directors of the relevant educational departments, who in turn approve the schedule and refer it to the Department of Financial and Administrative Affairs in the department for disbursement, provided that the dues are disbursed monthly at the end of each month or at most on the 10th of the following month.
Disbursement of dues for working by the class
The circular stressed on all concerned parties and workers addressed by this circular to adhere to implementing all the provisions contained therein with precision to avoid legal accountability.
It is worth noting that the value of the share above the legal quota for appointed teachers who will teach above the quota has been set at 50 pounds, and the value of the share for share teachers who are graduates of colleges qualified to teach has been increased from 20 to 50 pounds per share.

4- A security investigation of the applicant will be conducted before starting work.
5- The applicant will be accepted according to the study materials and geographical distribution of schools.
6- The deficit in the number of teachers in schools and the actual need for work determines those accepted.
7- The maximum number of shares is 24 shares per week.
8- Previous teaching experience for applicants for the session.
9- The work period will not exceed 11 months in one fiscal year.
10- The volunteer or the session teacher will not participate in exams or system and monitoring committees.
Conditions and specializations required to work in North Sinai schools
1- Original educational qualification certificate.
2- Certificate of completion of military service for males.
3- Certificate of completion of public service for females.
4- Copy of the national ID.
5- 6 personal photos of the applicant.
50 pounds per session with a maximum of 24 sessions - Volunteer teachers' bonuses 2021-2022
The ministry announced that it has allocated bonuses for session teachers 2021-2022 without volunteer teachers, and these bonuses are disbursed at specific values, depending on the number of sessions, in addition to the fact that their disbursement depends on the papers required for application.
The value of the bonus that will be paid to the teachers of the classes depends on the number of classes they teach, at 20 pounds per class.
Required documents to pay the bonus for teachers of the class
1- A letter from the first subject supervisor.
2- A statement of eligibility approved by the personnel affairs officer, the school principal and the first subject supervisor
The ministry indicated that work in schools is on a volunteer basis (free of charge) for holders of higher educational qualifications, and the volunteer's work is limited to assisting teachers according to what they are assigned by the subject supervisor.
